Ron Lambertson, born and raised in the Hudson Valley Catskills region is a avid fisherman who has spent his entire life casting his line in search of trout in and around our region. No matter the weather, Ron can be found out on the water, honing his skills and enjoying the sport he loves. He is well-known in the Hudson Valley and Catskills regions and has 25 years of experience float fishing and centerpining. Ron values and respects the diverse techniques and traditions of fishing and the fishermen who practice them, which helps to foster a sense of community and camaraderie among those who love to fish. In addition to his passion for fishing, Ron is also an avid hunter and enjoys spending time in the great outdoors with his daughter and hunting partner Matt chasing turkeys and deer. He is a strong advocate for protecting the environment and preserving natural resources. Ron is a talented taxidermist and has achieved the title of National Champion in his field. He has received the Award of Excellence from the National Taxidermists Association and is the owner of Crazy Antler Outdoors, LLC. Ron is also the founder and administrator of a popular sportsmen’s website called newyorksportsmen.com and is also skilled at creating custom turkey calls. With his wealth of experience and expertise in the outdoors, Ron is a well-respected member of the sportsmen’s community and a licensed guide in New York.
